🕯 My Oh My 🕯 This was quite the ride I’ll tell you that…. Double Vision by @hamelinbird 4 big ole whiskeys 🥃 from me While this was a slow burn 🔥 it was well worth it. For a debut novel Hamelin kicked ass. This story doesn’t punch you in the face with intense action rather it tells a deep sense of loss between an alcoholic father and his son. As the reader you get to familiarize yourself with this character within yourself or maybe someone you know. There is also murder, that somehow Mike (the main character and detective) finds himself in the middle of but has no idea how because he was blackout drunk. Then out of nowhere there’s a paranormal twist that blew my dam ***** mind! I’m telling you I was not expecting that! This was great and I am glad I had the chance to read it.
