Great Company

I discovered Double Exposure when I was flat on my back in a developing country with nothing to take my mind of the itch I had, buried under inches of bandages. Bonnie Hearn Hill's words brought me into a world of suspense and romance, so compelling I could feel the soft San Franciso fog on my face and "the heat of Leo's body through his thin, scratchy shirt." Bonnie Hearn Hill makes it easy to enter her world, so that even if you don't think you have the energy, she can take you away. I just wish it didn't take so long to get more of her books to Bolivia.

Bonnie at Her Best

This is her best yet. Good suspense, important plot, and great characters. This one is fun to read and hard to put down. Best of all, I hear she has more books nearing publication.

Again I wasn't disappointed by the latest Bonnie Hearn Hill thriller. From the beginning, the pacing was unstoppable. A well-plotted, gripping tale with memorable characters I'd like to meet up with again. The protagonist, Reebie, draws you into her life and perils as though you were living the adventures right along beside her. I even loved the cab driver and how she cunningly manipulated his final circumstances. Can't tell, but read the book. A wonderful bounty of rich, full characters. You won't be disappointed either.

One of Bonnie Hearn Hill's best yet, "Double Exposure" proves to be a mesmerizing story. Page after page, you'll find yourself intertwined in a dazzling story of deceit, betrayal and love. The reader will have a difficult time putting down the book, and then will spend hours thinking about the remarkable characters. This is one book, and author, not to be missed. You won't be sorry.

entertaining political romantic suspense thriller

While the country mourns the death of former President Michael Remington, in San Francisco Reebie Mahoney works two jobs trying to a living. She works at a cosmetics counter of a department store and as a temp at a catering service. At a gala she set up for a newspaper, Reebie gets a strange call from a woman claiming to be Jeanette Sheldon, Michael's mistress who wants to meet with her. Reebie and her friend photographer Daphne Teng visits Nora McFarland as Jeannette told her to ask for that name at her Nob Hill apartment only to find her dead. She recognizes the corpse as a woman who spent a lot of time and money with her at the cosmetics counter. Based on input from the doorman, the victim had a picture of Reebie in her home, and she was at the scene, the cops believe Reebie killed the woman. Reporter Leo Kersikowski arrives to get her away from the cops. When she is involved with a second murder and attempts on her life, Leo tries to keep her safe, help her solve the murder, and figure out the connection between the president's mistress and the woman he loves. DOUBLE EXPOSURE is an entertaining political romantic suspense thriller that grips the audience from the moment that Reebie recognizes the first victim and never slows down until the audience gets the message that the historical legacy is everything. The story line is action-packed as Reebie with Leo and the readers try to figure out what is going on and why.
