Josephine, a young penguin, is discouraged by her lack of success in school, but discovers that it is better to keep trying than to give up. This description may be from another edition of this product.
I remember getting this book as a gift when I was about five or six years old. I believe it was the first book I read and nearly memorized, because I was so fascinated by the wonderful story and beautiful illustrations. This book tells a story about a young penguin named Josephine who was not accepted in her ballet class. She eventually overcomes her insecurities with the help of her friends, while gaining acceptance from those who doubted her in the begining by showing them her unique talent. A wonderful story that encourages you to do your best and never give up, and to be proud of your unique talents.
