Yesterday casts the longest shadows.
Rupendre never realised that his bad boy reputation would come back and haunt him. Like any other wealthy young man he had lived a colourful life till he reached his middle twenties. He had travelled to all the glittering capitals of the world, most of the time with his best friend Siddy, and they both found willing women wherever they went. Sometimes they shared the woman as if she was a piece of cake to be eaten together.
Then, one afternoon in Bombay, along came cute and adorable Diyali. One look at her and Rupendre lost his heart irretrievably. He expected her to fall at his feet like other women but she was made of different clay. She looked sweet from outside but she was tough. She was not going to allow a playboy like Rupendre to break her heart.
