Dolly's story took many twists and turns, but she found strength through her faith in God, and the love she received from family, friends, and strangers. Dolly had a winning spirit, and her faith allowed her the power needed to overcome the adversities she encountered. She in turn learned to forgive and gave back to her community. It was life happening for Dolly. The following is from one of her favorite poems:
