Emily Middleton has enough on her plate. Long shifts at the hospital, fostering a parade of senior dogs, and dodging her well-meaning friends attempts at matchmaking. The last thing she needs is Theo Klein, the uptight lawyer with the perfect haircut and a perfectly infuriating attitude, who shows up at the dog park every morning acting like he owns the place (and whose designer dog can't stop growling at hers).
When the park is threatened by a flashy new development, Emily and Theo are forced into an uneasy alliance to save the one thing they both love: that ragtag, muddy slice of green where their dogs can run free, and where they've been secretly watching each other for longer than they'd admit.
But as they team up for late-night strategy sessions, community fundraisers gone wrong, and one too many "accidental" coffee dates, Emily starts to wonder if there's more to Theo than sharp suits and sharper comebacks.
Turns out, their dogs aren't the only ones with unresolved tension.
A sharp, sizzling romantic comedy full of dog mishaps, Grumpy / Sunshine, and slow-burn banter... with all the delicious tension of enemies to lovers.
