This book was inspired by my granddaughter. When she was two years old, she was very concerned that the moon should have a place to sleep and wondered how she could get him to sleep in her bed. I thought the sentiment was cute and I decided that one day I would write a book about it. Sadly, a few years later her father, my son, died of a stroke. He was such a loving father who was always there for his children, I decided to dedicate this book to him in the knowledge that he is still watching over them.
