The Stones are Watching

This was the first Past Doctor Adventure to feature the combination of the Fourth Doctor and Leela. The story is actually told out of order, is told in a first-person narrative, and is split into two different parts. The first part has the Doctor and Leela meeting Horace Stockwood, the main supporting character, and the journey to Easter Island, known as Rapa Nui by the natives living there. The second part has the characters arriving at the island and the events that follow. I won't say anything more about the story itself, as I don't want to spoil any of the plot for those reading for the first time. Despite the fact that the story was told out of order, I still understood the gist of things, and found it to be a good read overall. For fans of Leela, this is definitely the book for you, as the first-person narrative that Jim Mortimore uses allows the reader to get into Leela's head and see things from her point of view.
