Great book

I highly recommend this book. It has pictures which help you remember better, and the phonetic spelling to help with the pronunciations. You can go wrong with this book.

Perfect for grade-schoolers

I got this for my 8-year-old daughter in 2nd grade. She has a new Spanish speaking student in her class and asked for a Spanish-English dictionary for Christmas. I searched through many, many choices and chose this one. I'm so glad I did! She loves it! She brought it to school and her teacher even borrowed it, saying it was better than the one she was using. The best part is the pronounciation guide listed with each word. This is incredibly helpful, and easy to understand.

Great pictures! Great book! Nice notes on pronunciation. I wish DK made a line of picture dictionaries for all languages.

Childrens Picture Spanish Dictionary

This is a GREAT picture dicionary for ALL ages. I am a college student living in Spain and it has really helped me perfect my spanish. The pictures really help. You must buy this.

Great resource for learning/teaching Spanish

I was so happy to find this book. I am teaching my 2 year old Spanish but I don't know Spanish. We're learning together. This book was great because it has the pronunciation of the words also written phonetically. I sure don't want to teach her what I -THINK- the word should sound like. 2,000 common words with lots of pictures. It's a great addition to the other books/CDs I'm using.
