Another Divine story by NR, but you never know where Evil lurks!

Enjoyed this book & it's characters. Once you start to reading it, you will not be able to put it down. This book is quite a page turner! Warning: Not for the faint of heart ...Enjoy!

One of the spookiest books I have ever read. As usual Nora Roberts writes a well crafted story.

I have been trying to buy this book on mp3 or cd for several years. This is one of Nora Roberts better books. I purchase all of her books both as Nora Roberts and JD Robb. Why this book is so hard to get in audio puzzles me.

Not the Typical NR Romance

In reading other reviews, I see that people were disappointed that there was not the degree of romance usually present in most Nora Roberts' books and were upset at the satanism and violence depicted. Well . . . perhaps the title "Divine Evil" should have been the first clue that this was not a "Dance Upon Air" type book. I suppose in the romance genre, this story was a little more violent than is expected, but for a mystery, it was very mild. This was really more in line with NR's Eve Dallas and Roarke mysteries. I liked Cam and Clare, as well as the supporting characters. Although not a typical NR's ending, I liked the twist. I also did not think there was any confusion about Clare and Cam at the end -- you knew they would end up together and they did. Even though this is an earlier work, I also would like to see a sequel with Blair.

Dark & Romantic

Some will disagree with me but I love this book. I became a Nora fan last summer and haven't been able to stop reading her wonderful novels. When I started reading this book, I was taken aback by the graphic nature of it. Not that it offended me but that Nora had the guts to write a novel that would touch so many nerves! I love the characters and how she always has a way of describing each and every one of them, even the small bit players, so that you can picture just how they would look and be. This novel is definitely dark and not a "typical" romance novel but it still is a great read. I recommend if you like suspense and romance tied together. If you are squeamish about cults and satanism, I would avoid reading this book and stick to one of her many other brilliant novels. She has so many to choose from and you won't be disappointed!

This Nora Roberts is one of my all time favourites. She really delves into the human soul and shows you what lies beneath the surface of social veneer. I also enjoyed reading about Clare's creative process, how her dreams and her life influenced her art. This book will truly take you through a wide range of emotions, the suspense is masterful and the wonderful love story is just the icing on the cake. (Smooth, Rich, Creamy, Chocolate Icing!)

It Will Keep You Guessing...

This book will keep you guessing until the very end. I highly recommend it. Usually, I am pretty good at figuring out the end of a novel before it has finished..however, this book I didn't have a clue. It was well worth the wait.

Dark thriller! Could not put it down.

This book shows how versatile Roberts is. We still had the 'romance'and the happy ending but...., she added alot of darkness and shock also. She gave us many clues along the way but I was still not quite prepared for the ending. Also, it was 500 pages! I can go thru 200-350 page books in about 24-36 hours.
