Great Little Buy

This book, like the other New Horizons titles I've come across, is packed with wonderful illustrations on each page. For such a low price, you'd think that the quality of writing would be low as a consequence. Actually, it's reasonably good. The narrative is well done, even if it simplifies things on occassions. At the back, there are even some primary (and other secondary) sources you can read, which cover a reasonably broad number of themes. The book is only 191 pages long and is highly accessible, so it makes a good introduction to the subject.At any rate, whether you're an expert on the subject or a complete beginner, the book is worth buying for the illustrations alone!
