An incredible insight into living Chinese culture

This is a supplement to the text you should have with the boring utility grammar and vocabulary. Do you really want to sound like an outsider? This is slang, sometimes rough, and sometimes late-night cable. Even if you don't plan on using profound insults, you'd probably want to know one when it was said around you. More than the looking-up-the-naughty-words-in-the-dictionary, this excellent little book explains the *why* behind many slang and profane expressions. There is a lot of culture to be found here, and it is often hilarious. Buy this one, hide it from your teacher and family, then flex at the street vendor or karaoke bar. Highly recommended!
