What was the scariest dinosaur that ever lived? The Terrordactyl, of course. Along with the Alloserious, the Stegosewer and Tyrannosaurus Wrecks, it lived in the funniest age of all: The Age of Dinosaurs. Here in one outrageous volume are more than 300 of the wittiest, wackiest dinosaur jokes, riddles, puns, and knock-knocks ever to survive the Great Extinction. So travel back 65 million years, tickle a few funny bones, and have a Laffa-saurus a minute!
ISBN 0671882589 - These jokes are absolutely awful - just the way kids' jokes ought to be! Kids aren't looking for intellectual riddles, they're looking for quick laughs, and they'll find them here. I was surprised to find the book was published in 1994 - there's even a clean Bill Clinton joke. Something about it (maybe "Dino-mite") seems very 70s-ish, which isn't a good OR bad thing, just an observation. The jokes inside prove that the more the world changes, the more kids DON'T. What makes kids laugh just makes them laugh, regardless of the decade. Besides, some kids who can't be paid to read a book will read this without a thought, and that's a very good thing. What do you get when you cross a dinosaur and salted cabbage? Read it and find out! - AnnaLovesBooks
