Great Companion

Great companion to the manufacturers owners manual as you go hands on with your new digital camera.

Only a few pages into it and I love it!

I LOVE photography and I am usually envious of friends who have "the eye" for great pictures. I would say out of 10 pictures I take, I usually get just one good one in the bunch. So that was my reason for buying this book, I wanted actual exercises that would help me improve. I'm only a few pages into this book, and already I have learned quite a few things, so it can only get better from here! I'm anxious to start the exercises.

Great exercises to help understand your DSLR

After checking this book out several times from the local library I decided I had to have my own copy. Using the exercises provides invaluable help in understanding and effectively utilizing the many features of today's digital single lens reflex (DSLR)cameras. There are so many things to do, you can't cover them all in a couple of week loan from the library. One of the best features of the book is that all the example photos are in color and are right there next to the text. Other books have limited color sections that you have to continually flip back and forth to use.
