It covers classic filters, rate converters (integer and rational), fractional delay (Farrow), complex filters, CIC filter, super sampling filters and polyphase channeliser. It describes super sampling filters for the cases of two, three, or four samples per clock tick.

In each case the book presents implementation structures for hardware platform (FPGA or ASIC). Each structure is verified using Octave coding.

Additionally, it provides details of managing hardware fixed point computations, various rounding methods and filter gain control and aims at bit-true modelling.
