Eight mighty island warriors battle to become king. The deciding factor? The one who comes last, of course! Eight islands represented by their best warriors must battle it out in a tournament to decide their king. To win this battle of endurance, it's not the last one standing but the last one coming that matters! Matthew is studying at a prestigious college, and his new roommate, Harto, is almost too much to take. Harto hails from the mysterious Pulau Yang Indah and grew up with strange island cultural practices involving, well...the butt. Matthew does his best to shield his new roommate from teasing before it devolves into actual sexual harassment, and Harto isn't unmoved by Matthew's kindness--in fact, just thinking of him can bring him to orgasm. But these new developments terrify him too. As his clan's chosen warrior, he can't risk growing weak. Will he be forced to choose between his new love and the clan that raised him?
Summary:
The perfect conclusion to an absolutely absurd, yet wonderfully done yoai/spicy BL!! The art was just as detailed as volume 1, and I loved seeing the characters' lives after the well-fought tournament and learning more about them. I will recommend this to anyone who would be interested; this series must have more love!

Oh my gosh. I could absolutely lose the battle of life from the cuteness and spice in the series, but particularly in this volume! The tournament may have been over, but the islands' - and characters' - lore kept a-coming! As did the men. The first volume could've been a one-shot; yeah, I was curious about some of the characters and how they ended up, but after finishing volume two, I now realize how much I neeeeeded the closure from the couples from the tournament. Those that participated and the king, his advisor, and even the nondescript referee of the tournament gets his chance at lov—
Uh, well... he got his just desserts, but I liked the fact that every character got a proper resolution. The characters didn't just have endings, though. Some of the characters from volume one that didn't get much screen time but still had little hints of things happening in the background, were fleshed out more, giving full life to the men of the island. And Britain!
Yes, that is right, we get to see how Matthew and Hart(o?) met! And how they cohabitate now, ooh la la, hehe. In all seriousness, though, the backstory felt a little jarring, but it was so nice to see how their relationship grew from startled flatmates to full lovers. It was also lovely to see Matthew being a protective friend/crush in a healthy way; no touch him and die energy, but the feels were perfect.
My only gripe is that most of the names were spelled differently from the first volume to the second, which made it a little hard for me to identify who the characters were talking about if they were not in the scene. As an example, in volume one, the main character's name was "Hart," and in the second volume, it was "Harto", or Lolo vs. Roro, Yudha vs. Judah, etc. Phonetically, they sound similar when said, but just reading, I felt like I was reading the same series with new characters, which took me out of the immersion a bit. Once I got used to it, things were better and still enjoyable, but still very much noteworthy.
