Set in South London, Diary of the black and British follows two teenagers, Jada and Harrison as they are just starting year 11.
Jada Mensah is a headstrong girl who always strives for something more. Battling with the immense pressure from her parents to have amazing grades and Castle Heights local chav Chelsea Harris trying to fight her for God knows what, Jada is SO ready to leave school.
Although he seems like a spoilt rich boy to Jada, Harrison Winters is lugging around the weight of his family life in his school backpack. There is only one thing that drives Harrison to do well at life, yet he doesn't even know how to confess it to himself.

Both teens had dreams for the future, but now they've got to deal with responsibility, face their fears and grow up much faster than they thought, even though they're not quite ready.
Diary of the Black & British is about so many things, but the main focus is two teens trying to fit into a world where they don't feel as if they belong.
