Finally... an exercise logbook for people with diabetes
Anybody who has exercised with diabetes - especially those who need fast acting insulin - will know that it can have an unexpected effect on their blood sugar levels. Sometimes a nice gentle run will cause a hypo, or a weight lifting session can cause a hyper.
But... sometimes it shouldn't have been unexpected.
Recording data about your exercise will help you to spot patterns, and change the way you manage your food and insulin intake around physical activity.
While there is plenty of advice online, everybody's diabetes is different. Keep records and remove the worry that comes with exercise, by seeing exactly how your body reacts to different workouts.
This logbook will allow you to record the following information with ease, and fine-tune your exercise preparation:
1) Date/Time
2) Type of exercise
3) Blood sugar levels before exercise
4) Blood sugar levels after exercise
5) Details of fast acting insulin on board
There is also a section to take notes at the bottom of each page.
