Barry Lippe - Highly recommend

I just finished reading Biography of Diabetes - it is well written and has an interesting mix of diabetes facts. I was especially impressed by the chapter on alternative treatments of diabetes by Dr. Kroner which offers patients a unique way of treating diabetes. I would recommend this book to anyone interested in learning all about diabetes.

Revolutionary text on diabetes

As both a physician and a history buff, I highly recommend this book. It is the first book of its type to incorporate fluidly the historical, socioeconimic, and medical perspective of diabetes. It includes fun facts for the trivia nut as well as well researched new treatment modalities. Diabetics and non-diabetics alike would benefit highly from this text. New York, NY

This book is so informative and well written! The author did a great job researching everything from the history of diabetes to current research and information. A great addition to any library, highly recommended for anyone wanting to know more about Diabetes. A one of a kind book!
