Devil Fore The Fall

By Miss Grace Silk

Every Devil has his very own Eve and it's by her love that he rises so high.
Every Eve has her own Devil and when he betrays her love she'll bring him tumbling down to hell.

This short poetry book is the product of binge watching a number of documentaries about charismatic cult leaders and the women they loved who ended up bringing them down. Most speak of Adam and Eve, but her story is intertwined with the Devil. It's a partnership that has continued to influence women's place in society even to today. This collection may be because of cult leaders and their loves, but there's always more than one way to understand poetry, hence the beauty of it.
So read this book and enjoy, be it healing to read or painful to recognise your reflection in these pages.
