This is not meant to be a criticism of China because they are making excellent strides toward strengthening laws, but it must be acknowledged that the developed world has done a respectable job of safeguarding its population. In the end, state, municipal, and federal regulatory agencies have done a respectable job of protecting the public from physical and chemical hazards. If only everything was that easy.
