can a passionate Italian win a society girl's heart

I enjoyed this book very much because the hero was very gentle and very patient has he tried to win the heroine's love.Throuhghout most of the novel the heroine was selfish, thoughtles and immature. That's the only negative about the story. I also wondered why the hero stayed in love with her at times. I still found the story believable because it was well written. I liked how the heroine's feelings for the hero changed has the plot unfolded.This book is one of my top five favorite books.I've read it so many times I could tell it from memory.Violet Winspear at her best.
