Two couples, Doug and Debra and Jake and Monique, have been friends for decades. Now in their thirties, Doug and Debra are expecting their first child, as Jake and Monique grieve the loss of his parents from Alzheimer's and dementia. With the added stress in their lives, the four begin to notice "slip ups." Fearing the worst, and with the recency of Jake's parents' passings, they begin to look for answers.

But the nightmares only get worse.

The forgetting becomes more dangerous. And with the excuses of pregnancy, hormones and stress, no one wants to acknowledge the real horrors that could be lying underneath.

About the Author

After high school, Reni Erbnek went right into funeral studies. Today, Reni Erbnek and his wife run a funeral home in their small town. Together, they have three grown sons. When not writing horror stories, he enjoys catching and releasing timber rattlesnakes.
