This book is a "Great Gift to the DSL Industry"

I have read and reviewed several DSL books in my career but never seen such a comphrehensive and easy to understand book on the subject. I have been intimately involved with a broadband CLEC for the past two years and can relate the importance of certain topics that the authors tried to cover in depth. I wish I had this book two years ago!!. Great job Mr. Harte and Mr. Kikta!I would strongly recommend this book for any one trying to understand DSL technology, implementation as well as the applications.Reddy Urimindi

A very good primer for technical and non-technical readers.

A very good primer for both technical and non-technical readers. Balances marketing and technical accounts of DSL technologies including features, costs, services and applications. The Applications chapter is worth the price of the book alone.

DSL technologies and applications clarified

This is a well written and organized book. It covers the technologies and also gives excellent business perspectives, delivers a great deal of clarity in explaining the various DSL technologies and how they can be used (applications). The authorial insights throughout proved very helpful.

Comprehensive applications & market opportunities revealed!

This book really explains DSL technologies in a language that is easy to comprehend. More importantly it also lists many applications and sizes market opportunities. Lots of very useful statistics. This simple book has generated several ideas which I hope to turn into business opportunities. I highly recommend it!

Great semi-tech book on DSL

This is a great introduction to DSL. I didn't know there were so many different DSL technologies and how significant the differences were between them. The technology descriptions were detailed but easy to understand. The diagrams are not glamorous, but there are many and they really helped me understand this stuff. The applications section in this book is awesome! If you are in the broadband industry, this book is a must.
