Delia of Vallia is a princess but she's no shrinking violet. She's the wife of the great warrior Dray Prescot, and no mean talent herself with a blade. Kenneth Bulmer, aka Alan Burt Akers, wrote a lengthy Sword & Planet series set on the planet of Kregen, 400 light years from earth. Most of the lengthy series, some fifty books, feature Prescot as the main hero. But some of the books deal with Dray's friends and family. This one is about his wife, who is perfectly capable of having grand adventures on her own.
