Her professional experience spans K-12, postsecondary and faith-based community environments. A native of Nashville, Tennessee, Felicia has been interpreting professionally since 2008. Felicia's passion extends beyond interpretation; she is deeply committed to advocacy, access, and bridging communication gaps to ensure equity for all. This commitment led her to establish Equivalent Communications in 2021. Felicia holds an associate degree in American Sign Language interpreting from Nashville State Community College, a bachelor's degree in management of human Relations from Trevecca Nazarene University, and a Master of Arts in Teaching Special Education from Liberty University. To maintain excellence in her practice, Felicia regularly participates in workshops, trainings, and professional development opportunities, including completing the Improving Rural Interpreter Skills (IRIS) program.
