Deep Pressure

Karen has problems, lots of problems. She has a fear of flying, heights, of being touched, crowds and the list goes on. The other problem is the erotic dream Karen has been having wear she craves the touch of not one man, but two. Karen knows it is a dream that will never come true for her. Leman and Dgor know that Karen is their mate. It is their mission to complete the Trigon Ritual with her and make her theirs forever. Can Karen get over her fears to be with Leman and Dgor? Can they convince her that she is the one for them? Deep Pressure is an interesting book. I like all of the background information that Angelia Whiting gave me at the beginning of the story. It helped pull me into her world. I think the only real problem I had with the story is the fact that Karen was able to allow Leman and Dgor to touch her after all the years she suffered from her condition. I'm glad that Ms. Whiting didn't take away all of Karen's problems. I loved the dream aspect of Deep Pressure. I think it is a fabulous way to introduce the characters. It helped add a touch of humor to Deep Pressure when Karen would fall into a dream state in front of her co-workers. Ms. Whiting added the perfect mix to Deep Pressure of humor, sex and danger. Sexy Threesome

I loved the first book in this series, The Trigon Rituals, so was very excited to read Deep Pressure. This is a very entertaining book, but unfortunately, it isn't as well written as the first book. Whiting still has strong characters that compliment each other perfectly. Both Dgor and Lemor are your typical Alpha males who care for Karen and are constantly trying to show this. Karen is a little scared and overwhelmed to suddenly find herself the center of these two intimidating men's attention, but she still carries herself off believably. Dgor and Lemor are also written realistically, as they find it hard at first to adapt to sharing the woman they love with another person. Karen has Sensory Defensiveness which causes Karen to be hypersensitive, so she has never done anything sexual. However, Karen can stand Deep Pressure, which is harder contact and pressure that won't overload her nervous system and mind. Therefore, being with and between two powerful men is exactly what Karen unknowingly needed. Dgor and Lemor pick up on this quickly enough and are more then glad to be the ones to give her that deep pressure. I think Whiting did a great job by including this physical flaw and making it seem believable. The sexual scenes within this book are very delicious and hot. Unfortunately, I felt like the Trigon Ritual fell flat within this book. I was really eager for this, because it was one of my favorite scenes within the first book. Besides that disappointment, the rest of the sexual encounters between the three characters are very well written. One of the problems I did have, is that the plot seemed slow in places. It took a good amount of pages before Dgor and Lemor physically met Karen, and after they did, it took another many pages before they completed the 'flaunt' and brought her to their ship. The rest of the book takes place on the ship except for a few pages on Dgor's and Lemor's planet. The action and tension seemed a bit lacking but the good chemistry between the three characters ultimately saved this book. I read this book within a day, and despite some of the flaws was very well written. So if you are looking for a hot and sexy erotica featuring menage-a-trois, this is a wonderful book that I highly suggest.
