Did you know that when you go to God with prayer requests the devil is actually listening also? Did you know that Satan will also answer your prayers? If you didn't know, please read DECEPTION: THE DEVIL HEARS YOUR PRAYERS TOO by Twyla Prindle. Using her life as the classroom and the Bible as her guide, Ms. Prindle provides readers with an insightful dialogue on how Satan interferes in the blessings God has for us. She shares her struggles to remain godly through a journey peppered with trials and tribulations brought on by the intrinsic work of the devil. She lets us know satan has a job to do and he does it well using any means necessary. He will even offer you your deepest desires but with consequences aimed at moving you further away from God. She shares her triumphs in developing discernment that finally led to distinguishing when it's God's will or Satan's temptation. She also lets readers know that because of our human nature we can get snared in Satan's trap, but God is the final authority and He can turn "the Devil's messing into a blessing." Ms. Prindle has reached deep within herself to produce a very personal and honest guide on her remarkable journey to show readers how they too can determine if they are falling prey to Satan. I really appreciated how the book is organized. Each chapter begins with scripture, and then includes her testimony, which is sometimes infused with scripture also. At the end of each chapter is a synopsis on all the lessons she has learned and reference scripture to support them. Ms. Prindle has done a nice job of honestly communicating subjects that can be hard for many to deal with, but are particularly frustrating deterrents for new Christians and a hindrance to spiritual maturity. Although written in easy to relate conversational tones, the book, at times, may appear little preachy and repetitive. She never gave up on what she had inside her.

She shares the things that she went through. She shared the things that hurt her the most. But she never gave up on herself and she still fought for what she believed. And that is a real woman. And God is still first in her life!!!!!
