A senior in high school, Leigh Ann falls in love with Paul, her independently wealthy but disturbed music teacher, who teaches only to meet and bed beautiful young women like Ann. She makes her feelings known to him, and they begin to secretly meet. Due to Ann's fear of losing her reputation and innocence, Paul is at first unsuccessful in his attempts to consummate their desires. He pledges his love to her and promises to marry her in order to get her into bed with him.
After graduation, when she finds herself with child, she seeks Paul out only to find he has resigned from his teaching position and moved away with no forwarding address. Ann confesses her misdeed to her father with a fabricated story that doesn't implicate Paul, and her father accepts his daughter's situation and the coming grandchild.
Paul moves on to his life of dubious indiscretion without regrets and with full intention of feeding his sexual addictions-whatever the costs.
