Prequel to "A Murder Bred in Buckhead"

Patricia Sprinkle is a phenomenal writer, and I especially enjoyed this and the other Sheila Travis book - "A Murder Bred in Buckhead." Both books offer great intrigue and excellent character development. If I had it to do over, I would have read this book before I read "A Murder Bred in Buckhead," just for the chronological understanding of the events. Both books are excellent, and I'm sorry that she hasn't written more Sheila Travis mysteries!

Southern mystery

Sheila Travis is a widow who gets involved in a murder mystery in a in Atlanta when asked to investigate the murder by a family friend. The murder of a wealthy suburbanite leads to interesting revelations about the rich surburban wife and Sheila Travis meets a mysterious and handsome man during the investigation. This is a quick and interesting read.

Terrific tale

An early Patricia Sprinkle. Her characters are well developed, the plot well planned and the research extensive. Because she writes of the South, I am aware of the geography. These books are fun reads because they have a story and yet you can put it down and pick it up later and wont have to go back and find out 'where you were.'
