This book was great !!!

Last year my dad gave me Hear No Evil 1 for Christmas. I picked up the book it took me a week to read. Last month I read it again in only 5 hours I loved the book so much. Once you pick up the book you can't put it down! This book made me cry with Sara and laugh with her. After I read this book I started searching for the sequill, but could not find it anywhere until now. I recomend this book to all those who were caught by the title because the book not only lives up to it but surpasses it. A reader

The best mystery book I've ever read! Move over Nancy Drew!!

I would just like to congradulate Scholastic Books for finaly getting a book series that appeals to everyone! I like to read anyway, but I was searching through the shelves at K-mart and this book jumped out at me. For a mere 3 dollars this was one the best books I've read and it puts expensive books by popular authors to shame. I'm 15 and I love this series. It's great for people of all ages.

This a book that i couldn't put down.

I know it may not be important from a 12 year old kid to read this but this book is one of my favorites. Some people think I don't understand things like this but I do.This story made me cry made me laugh and it mad me happy.I had such a good time reading your book.I'll get the second one another time. But if you ever think about stopping writeing stories take my advice don't becouse the stories you write make people smarter in an unique kind of way.I don't know what it is like to be deaf but i know alot about the deaf and that seemed to be from a deaf persons point of veiw. thanks for writeing good books. from a 12 year old Kelly

should be must reading for all 17 year olds - repeat all

Death in the afternoon impacted me more than any other book i have read and i have read many hundreds of books. after approx. 55years ago (my first reading) i have returned time and time again and i am totally enveloped by the incredible insight of E.H. if in my lifetime i would have been allowed to have just one book, "death" by hemingway would be my choice without hesitation..

Absolutely wonderful.

It was absolutely awsome. I usually don't go for mystery books, but this one really grabbed my attention. And once it had my attention, it held it. It was wonderfully written. Very visual. I like that. Then it's easier to picture the events and characters. The entire series is wonderful. I wish there was more to the series as Sara grows up. This book definetly deserves the rating of 10(best) There is no other way to describe it but "the best."
