Utterly charming!

Deborah is a 5-6 yr. old girl living in England c. 1960 who adores her teddy bear, Teddy Robinson, and together they have fun adventures around the house or with friends. The writing is very graceful, using a delightful blend of fantasy and innocence but thankfully without gratuitous sugar-coated soppiness. The characters are all respectful of each other, have an excellent sense of humor, and are thoroughly endearing.I read Dear Teddy Robinson and More Teddy Robinson in 1970 when I was 6, living in England with my parents, and rediscovered them recently with my own children (boys aged 3 & 6). Each chapter is a delightful bedtime story.
