Enjoyable Sexy Fantasy Story

I am feeling lazy so I am responding to someone else who wrote a review with my comments. I separated their review with my parargaphs/comments. Sorry if this is confusing but as I said, I am feeling lazy. Overall I liked this story and really liked the fierce alpha werewolf Ivan and the way he treated Rickelle and felt about her. I really wanted the story to be longer because it did leave me with some unanswered questions like what was the significance of the metal tusks that Ivan and his kind all wore? I do not believe the tusks were relevant to the story. Did anyone ever really understand why he killed his first mate? Yes that was quite clear when they went to the meeting at the Castle and Ricky was attacked by Demon. How did Rcky come to be one of the last of that type? Now you have to use your imagination as well as you do regarding the major concept of werewolves. The "last of that type" is remotely conceivable, with a little imagination. My Brother was the last of our family and when he died that was the end of our family name/legacy, no he was not a werewolf. (You'll know what I mean if you read the book). Also, everyone kept looking at and talking about the mark on the back of her neck yet she never seemed interested enough to try to take a look at it or ask what they were talking about. Again, this is fantasy and you need to read the story as such. There are a few other things that could have been answered with a longer story and I would have liked more in-depth conversation between Ricky and Ivan but writing a book is hard and overall I did enjoy the story and will put the book on my keeper shelf just because I liked Ivan. I think not but it sure was sensual. Now my reaction to story. I do not like fantasy and I purchased this book expecting something different even if it was fiction. To my surprise I really enjoyed it. What I did not enjoy were the last two pages/ending. It was too ridiculous and impossible to consider as an ending, fantasy or other. It would have been quite simple to end the story with a more acceptable one. For instance here is my ending. Ricky would return to the cabin with her son and Ivan. There is no way Ivan would exist in her world. Other then that, I did not put the book down, very entertaining when you are snowed in, like today. The author should write another book. Their style of writing was enjoyable. I would read it as long as it was not a continuation of this story, nevertheless, this was fun reading.

Deadly Submission

Stepping out onto her porch one evening, Ricky hears an animal whimpering. As she searches for the animal, she is seized from behind, drugged and taken away in a car. Slipping in and out of consciousness, Ricky finds herself traveling far away from her home. Upon reaching her destination, Ricky discovers that she has been sold to a pack. The rules of her new life are vastly different than those of the real world. Ivan and Roman are the head Alphas of the pack. And even though she is told to remain distant and subservient to Ivan, she finds herself attracted to him. The attraction is mutual. Over time Ricky becomes accustomed to her new life, although she misses her son and family immensely. With the conflicts and overwhelming emotions facing Ricky and Ivan, the two are faced with seemingly insurmountable problems. Can their relationship withstand their differences as well as the dangers of pack life? I found myself lost in the intensity of Deadly Submission. The utter dominance of the Alphas was both sexy and scary. The concept of being kidnapped then considered property to be used, traded or owned is frightening. But the way in which Ricky's plight was described in the story, was almost romantic. I was fascinated with this tale. The ending leaves questions unanswered about how Ivan and Ricky can make it work, but to me it felt complete. I find Deadly Submission to be a really unique and very interesting story. It is hot, sexy, scary, romantic, and very intense! I really enjoyed it! Nannette reviewed for Joyfully Reviewed

Good Book

I liked this book overall, but there were a few things that seriously needed more explanation. Like, why is Ricky what she is? And for that matter what is she?And why? Her parents didn't seem to have any problems. I also thought that she reacted a bit unrealistic at times. I would expect way more negative reaction from someone who has been drugged, kidnapped, sold, put in the house in the middle of nowhere and told that she may be there for "trade and procreation purposes". She never tries to escape. She is told that she'd be killed, but considering all of the above I think one would take that chance. She adjusts kind of fast. Like the other reviewer said, she never did once looked on the back of her neck. In general, I liked the plot and the style of writing and would recommend this as a decent read.

Liked it, wished it could have been longer
