Insightful and Enchanting

Deadly Ever After by Brittany Johnson was not a story I expected to laugh out loud to and beg the universe for a movie or tv show! Filled with self discovery, awakening, and exposed lies that both broke the heart but healed the soul this story was a tale that definitely needed to be told. Two young royals died or came close to death just to be brought together to take on challenges they never knew they needed in order to grow. They died yo find each other and were reborn to grow together. This was such a beautiful tale and a fairy tale I wish I had growing up as a little Black girl in a world filled with real monsters, but so much opportunity. I loved the LGBTQ+ representation!
