Skies set the mood of landscape painting....

That is David's opening statement, "Skies set the mood of a landscape painting and greatly influence the light, yet many artists barely give them any consideration. In this book you will find skies of all sorts..." I have watercolor books by several very talented artists, but none have given the time and consideration to the effects of the sky on the painting. This amazing book is worth it just to see David's work. He show how he paints a dramatic sky, sunlight and shadow, mist among crags, rain squalls, snow, and a misty mountain waterfall! This isn't geared toward beginners, but intermediate skilled watercolorist will greatly benefit from these lessons. His works stand out in a crowd, yours will too if you follow his example!
