HTML Simplified

When I agreed(okay, well, volunteered)to recreate a section of my employer's website I was, perhaps, a bit too confident in my skills. I am by no means computer illiterate, but I had very little experience with HTML and all else that is needed to design a webpage. I was to be working with a well known web development program and tried as best I could to learn through the tutorials and such. Ha. Let's just say that didn't work...

Quick is the Operative Word

Great book for beginners

This book is a great book for beginners programming their first webpage, or, for that matter, programming a webpage at all. It skips most of the technical mumbo-jumbo that would confuse most people and cuts it down to what it needs to make a great webpage. This is one of the best books out there for beginners and pros alike.

Excellent for beginners!

This book is excellent for beginners! It explains things that would normally seem very complex in a simple, concise manner. It skips all the technical stuff that most other books feel you need to know, even though you don't. I got a page made for myself in just a few hours! I now use it to share photos and information with my family. I would recommend this for anyone who knows nothing about computers.
