The new dating book by Mike Harris & Victoria Jackson was released in September by small press, Cumerbland House Publishing, Inc. The title has the combined advantage of a clever concept, a dedicated publisher, and two highly energetic authors who believe they must do a good deal of self-marketing. All of this could lead to formidable success for this title. Dates From Hell reveals the funny-awful side of dating! What makes a dating experience so bad that it is burned forever in your memory as a Date From Hell? Everyone who has ever dated has their own definition-and their own particular tale to tell. The two authors just had to know. They launched an aptly named website and asked men and women from around the world to send them stories of awful evenings, noxious nights, and woeful weekends. As someone profiled in this book (see "Good Knight"), I have to say that these things really do happen! And the way that Victoria and Mike handled my story, and all the others, is not only entertaining but kind. I've seen some other books where the person who submitted the story wasn't treated with respect - but this book is fantastic. I recommend it to anyone who is out there dating and needs a laugh, anyone who is thinking about how bad it can be...
