DARKNESS UNTIL DEATH is my 28th book on Amazon. The passing of my always youthful, positive, supportive, Aunt Sylvia after a century of love, another rescued, senior feline lifeline angel Mama had me pause, unable to continue writing my next two Y.A. novels CALINE'S COURAGE and OUTWORLDER. Dark days of hate and fear with the onset of the Trump administration, had me pull together past political prose, art, and memes for A DREAM NEVER REACHED, book-8 of my DARKNESS OF THE LIGHT art, poetry, and prose series.

DARKNESS UNTIL DEATH is a sequel of my DARKNESS series. The DARKNESS series started with the first book in the series, the semi-biographical art, poetry, & prose book, A DARKENESS OF THE LIGHT. The initial first volume published a lifetime collection from my youth to present day prose. My introduction for the first DARKNESS book included lines still relevant that were taken from notes of an old manuscript I started as a hybrid speculative fiction/autobiographic narrative "HOPETOPIA BOUND." Every day is a struggle to find and reclaim hope. The conflict at heart remains between accepting the light of love or succumbing to the darkness of despair.

DARKNESS UNTIL DEATH is a compilation of DARKNESS prose written after the series last book was published. This book also includes several dark pieces from my MINNEAPOLIS PROSE book. Meanwhile, I will be revisiting my first solar powered Y.A. dystopian adventure novel CALINE to edit all the errors missed in rushing to get it in print for my Aunt Sylvia's 100th birthday.

I dedicate my latest book DARKNESS UNTIL DEATH, once again to the many who struggle with depression as I have over a lifetime and continue with my remaining years. And of course, to all the men and women looking for and will one day hopefully find love's light. I use my writing, to try find and accept light into my darkness. I hope whoever reads my books can find both hope, inspiration, and light to maybe become agents of positive change. I will continue to write hoping my words can help just a little bit to create a green, and beautiful world for children today and tomorrow.
