A young man in Southern Mississippi reunites with old friends several years after their ghost-hunting experience and makes new friends, leading him intrigued by and into investigating some legend that seems tobizarre to be true. Even though it seems too bizarre and macabre to be true, he finds more evidence the longer he goes "Joyriding through the Spook-haunted Woodlands of Down Yonder."

Moving into a house dating back to the eighteenth century in some unincorporated area outside a mountain town in Tennessee seems very nice for a young man. Things seem to become even better when he reunites with a long lost friend who comes into town. That is until they find out how well the name of such community suits it because it's a hell of a place "Out in the Boonies of Gehena."
