Dangerous Tides

Loved the book, in fact, I love all of Christine Feehan books in this series. She really knows how to keep you guessing till the very end and keeps you turning page after page until the book is done.

Great Read!

This was the first of the Drake Sisters novels that I purchased, and I liked it so much that I went backwards to read ther sisters before. This novel of Libby and her "supposed" nemisis Ty Derrick is both romantic and suspenseful. The realationships of the sisters is amazing. This is a wonderful read. I can not wait for Hannah and Jonas.

Fantastic Story

DANGEROUS TIDES is a really sweet romance story. It has it all: sexy love scenes, action, romance, and the unity of family. You can feel the love and affection growing between Libby and Ty. DANGEROUS TIDES adds a great addition to this series. You will enjoy the camaraderie between the sisters and can't help but revisit each sisters love story. I can't wait until Hannah, Joley, and Elle's stories come out.

Magical Drake Sisters Romance

Christine Feehan has written one of the best of her Magical Sisters novels. There is sissle, romance, danger, and magic in this episode of the series. Libby Drake is the fourth of the seven sisters with magic. She is the Doctor, the good girl, the one who never gets in trouble. She has a gift for healing, using her abilities in context with her profession. Libby feels like the overlooked one in the Drake family, she feels she is destined to be an old maid, because she has never felt the pull of passion or the heat of chemistry. Tyson Derrick is a genius, he and Libby attended college together. She has great respect for his brillance, but not for his social skills. Tyson is a loner, except for his cousin Sam. His interests lie in research but occasionally he needs to fill the emptiness inside, so he skydives, mountain climbs, or works with the Rescue Team his cousin is on. Only a rush of adrenaline seems to make him feel alive. Until the day his safety rope snaps and he falls 30 feet onto the rocks below him. He is rushed to the hospital and declared in a vegative state. When Libby sees him she is forced by her gift to save his life, even at the risk of hers and her sisters. As Libby collapses he awakens to stare into her eyes and find there is something else that can make him feel alive. That can fill his empty heart. Suddenly he finds his mind filled with everything about Libby. He doesn't believe Libby can heal and considers her sisters con artists who have fooled a whole community. But he is determined to make her his. There is a beauty and soothing quality in her face and Ty needs to have that in his life, Libby finds she is not without feelings of her own. As they try to learn about each other they are faced with several attempts on their lives. But are they against Libby or Ty. Each is determined to protect the other and the rest of the sisters are going to try to protect both. I loved this book and found it one of the most readable ones I have read lately. It left me hungry for the next in the series. Don't miss this treat.

A terrific Drake sisters installment!

Ever since "Oceans of Fire" I have eagerly awaited the novel on the next youngest Drake sister, Dr. Libby Drake. Ms Feehan has outdone herself! First of all, this is a wonderfully touching love story between two people who are both "brains" or "geeks" and secondly, a mystery story of who wants one or both of them dead! There are also a couple underlying stories that also add to the suspense and plot twisting. The story begins with Drew Madison, a young man with leukemia mentioned in previous Drake books, climbing over a fence and starting down the cliffs above the Ocean near Sea Haven. The roiling water is fascinating him and it is raining, windy and he may even be crying. His almost inevitable fall is witnessed by Pete, Kate's fiance's Matt's younger brother, who immediately calls the sheriff department. A helicopter/fireman rescue is called in and part of the crew consists of biochemist and volunteer rescue crew, Tyson Derrick and his cousin, Sam Chapman. Tyson is the lucky one to be lowered to assess and with another crew member load Drew into a basket. As Drew and Tyson are going up on the rope, Tyson's harness breaks and he falls thirty feet to the rocks, critically injured. The excitement, drama and tender as well as sensual romance throughout this story along with surprising plot turns make for an extremely enjoyable and satisfying read! We really get to know Libby and Tyson in depth along with more info on Hannah, Joley and Elle as the final three pairings start to appear. I'm not sure I can wait for the next installment!!

Feehan at her best...

This was one of the best Feehan books that I have read in the last couple of years. This is about Libby Drake, Witch/Doctor/Healer and Ty Derrick, genius researcher. I'm not going to give you the plot or a description of the book because there are reviewers out there that will do a much better job of it than I can. I will tell you that this was a very satisfying love story and mystery. And character development was extremely good with both the hero and heroine - they grew in this book to be a unit and it was great to see. I especially loved the hero of this book. Also, each Drake sister is very much involved in the book and it was nice to see the sisters from the previous books, but I wish I had seen their fiancés (who were absent in this book) We also get glimpses of future books and pairings as in Hannah with Jonas, Elle with Jackson and Joley with a minor character from a previous book (he was mentioned once in this book and I can't remember his name but I immediately remembered him from a previous book). Now I not-very-patiently wait for the next installment of the Drake Sisters. Write fast Ms. Feehan!!!
