"Too Dangerous to Tell... Too Deadly to Keep"

When several teenagers start committing suicide one after the other in Santa Clarinda, California, nobody's really ready to accept it, least of all 15-year-old Erika Nilsen. And since she was loosely involved with the first victim, Erika takes it on herself to start investigating the surge of unexplained "suicides." What she uncovers, though, is a lot more complicated than she ever could have imagined, involving several dark secrets kept by her high school teachers and classmates."Dangerous Secrets" is a terrific, fast-paced book. It jumps right into the story from page one, and keeps the reader guessing until the very end (though the ending is kind of a letdown). Erika's a great, well-developed protagonist/amateur sleuth, and could give Nancy Drew a run for her money any day. This book is definitely worth reading if you like YA suspense/horror.

Fantastic!

At first when i saw this book i thought, absolutely no way i would read this book. But in fact, it was the best book i've ever read! (i know i say that a lot but whatever.)it's got a really good plot and the way they "killed themselves" is SO gory. I think half of the reason they solved the case was half pure luck. I mean, overhearing lots of chats between your mother who is the counselor who is in charge of the "victims'" friends and having your step dad be a policeman who works on the case really IS a sroke of luck is't it? I think ricky sounds pretty cute though i think it's pretty gross he does porno. it's sickening. i'm so glad sandra lived, she's nice even though she is a bit obssesed with rick, catch my drift? erika's best friend, Chad is also nice and i'm happy they became "more than friends." i always suspected that her real dad, meanin erika's dad was rotten and i guess i was right. Mr. garcia was also dispicable. He is disgustng, a total slug. he actuall had the nerve to throw a pass at erika. (does the sentence make sense?) I also had two suspects on who was the muderer and i was right about the one i decided at last. i didn't talk bout' paul yet! n0t much to say, he was like a total bum. Uh i don't think i'm makin sense really. Ok, the victims: ricky, paul and sarah (the time is in order) heroine: erika sidekick: chad oh yeah, mr garcia is a teacher. Ok, now my dad is wanting me to go to bed. It's only ten mins to twelve. can you imagine i man get real who cares if i'm havin my final exam tommorow. it's not like i sleep much in bed anyways. ok i hve to go.

This is one horror story you'll never forget

You can't put it down but you're afraid to pick it up for fear of what might happen next. You'll never know the murderer until the end when it all makes sense.Erika's life is risked when she recieves a manila envelope containing something secret. A few hours later the deliverer commits suicide. As the suicides increase Erika's life is risked more and more as she digs deeper and deeper into the mystery.I liked this book so much as I read further and further into it. I love horror stories and I loved this book so I think anyone who reads it will love it too.
