Great book for kids facing deployment

I purchased this book for my daughter during this deployment. The author is a wonderful lady, and she sent me a book for the USO at DFW Airport. While Kathy Mitchell originally wrote this book for her son TJ, she saw how this book could help other kids going through the same thing. In my correspondence with her, I found her to be a caring individual. I would highly recommend this book for military families with small children. In case anyone is wondering, I am not related to Kathy Mitchell in any way. My opinion of this book is based purely on its content.

A book for deployed Kids

As a Army wife and the family support group leader for my husband's unit. I say this book is a must read with your child when facing deployement. So many times we focuse on the spouse and forget about the kids and how hard it is to deal with deployment for them. I think Kathy does a great job explaining deployment and its on a kids level. Thank you Kathy for a outstanding book for kids of soldiers!
