Darcy is your typical introverted teenager, quiet, withdrawn, and allergic to anything resembling fun. So, when his parents drag him to the PPP Traveling Carnival, he expects nothing but a lacklustre day full of dull rides and rigged carnival games. However, Darcy was unaware of the horror that awaited him. The clowns' main performance is a half-hearted comedy act which leaves the crowd disappointed. Following the dreary act, Darcy and a handful of teens are invited backstage for a special behind the scenes show. What was meant to be an exclusive experience quickly turns into a living nightmare. Darcy realizes the clowns are more sinister than they appear. The laughter has ceased, the lights have dimmed, and the air reeks of a foul odour. The clowns are hungry for blood, and they are not clowning around. Escaping the tent is the main act, and it may be his last.
