Crawl, Ladybug, Crawl Many young children enjoy looking at an assortment of bugs and insects and learning to read about one can be a big draw. This book has one very short sentence in large print and on the next page a picture of a ladybug in action or a very visible depiction of what the sentence is about. For example in the sentence, "Ladybugs have two wings," there is a photograph of a ladybug on a blade of grass. Her wings are spread wide so the reader can see them. This is a colorful, vibrant book that attracts the emergent reader and helps ensure success in his or her early reading ventures. The small size of the book fits nicely in small hands and the large bold print against a white background is uncluttered and easy to read/decipher. In the back of the book is a visual picture glossary and an index. This book has been reviewed by two reading consultants.
