Cowboy Up, Peanut: A Horse's Tale a' Courage

By SaDonna Heathman

One nervous horse against a whole herd of Cow Beasts. What could go wrong?

Peanut may be a young cow horse, but he has a big problem. He's scared of cows. When the ranch horses head out on the big cattle drive, his imagination gallops wild. Will Peanut's fears get the best of him, or can he find a way to lead this herd in the right direction?

Cowboy Up, Peanut is a funny, laugh-out-loud picture book for kids ages 5-8 that celebrates courage, friendship, and overcoming fear. Full of humor, heart, and down-home country charm, this western barnyard tale is perfect for little readers who love horses, ranch life, and farm adventures.

Perfect for read-alouds at home, in the classroom, or at storytime.
