Corners of My Mind

Corners of My Mind: American Short Stories is a collection of thirty one tales by the talented author, Travis E Short. They are only four and sixteen pages long and easy to add to anyone's busy schedule. It was fun being thrown into a new story every so often. I never knew what to expect after finishing one after another. I liked the different experiences, from brave soldiers to sweet canines. They touched my heart, made me laugh, cry, and smile. A beautiful variety and mix of emotions within the book. I do want to warn other readers to have those tissues handy. I loved every single story and could not pick just one as my favorite. I am going to give Corners of My Mind: American Short Stories a very well deserved five plus stars. I highly recommend it for readers who love to read short stories that have heart, show the human spirit, and inspiration. I would love for the author to have a volume two from the Corners of My Mind to be released in the future. Or even better, a full length novel or novels dedicated to one or more of the stories shown within this book. Travis E Short has definitely proved to be a master storyteller. I received a paperback copy of Travis E Short's Corners of My Mind: American Short Stories from the publisher, but was not required to write a positive review. This review is one hundred percent my own honest opinion.
