Corners of Caithness - Wick: includes an energy review

This is the second review of energy in Caithness and Sutherland, the first one is in the Systematic Destruction of Scotland, and follows the launch of the energy strategy petition in May 2025. In February 2026, Energy Minister Gillian Martin spoke to the Petitions Committee about the concerns about energy infrastructure. Holyrood was then prorogued until the elections on 7 May 2026. It is hoped that a new Petitions Committee will be formed under the new government.
