Almost 60 something year-old Sarah Wickham, has chosen her snow-bird retirement home in a designated historic district in downtown Scottsdale, Arizona. She and her new house are basically the same age, but hey Scottsdale's a young town and Sarah's trying to keep herself young with her new hobby of walking. Her Hubby is still "up-north" working, and she's staying at their nephew's pool house while her casita at Villa Pima is renovated back to its mid-century modern glory. On her first day as the owner, builders discover a hidden space behind a wall, prompting Sarah to investigate past events in her house from the 1960s. She seeks assistance from Father Pedro and his church, a retired cadaver dog named Herbie, Villa Pima's historian known as "The Professor," her neighbors Hero and Pauline, and former war nurses to uncover clues. After visiting a healing garden on a nearby reservation, Sarah considers whether to reveal secrets from the past. Follow her journey as she uncovers the history of a previous homeowner who continued to support women's health during her retirement.
