Contingent valuation for water resource conservation

This paper presents the results of research conducted to obtain values for the environmental impacts produced by the installation of a Sewage Treatment Plant project, seeking to improve water quality. The values found give an idea of the population's perception of such an important resource for life, water, and provide us with elements for decision-making regarding the investments necessary for the conservation and preservation of natural resources.
