Just wanted to let the readers of this book know that the quote on Mission Statements given by the reader in Kirkland, Washington, is actually quoted and credited in Snetsinger's book to the best-selling author of The Path: Creating Your Mission Statement for Work and for Life, by Laurie Beth Jones. Snetsinger's book is great, but for help in forming and living your mission, read The Path by Laurie Beth Jones. She truly helps you create a brief, succint and focused statement of purpose that can be used in all of life's activities.
Insightful and to the point

I found this book to be a nugget. I do have a couple of other MLM books that are my favorites but this is definetely a must read for people in MLM. There were at least 3 chapters that catapulted my thinking: 1. Developing a Mission Statement 2. The $300 dollar solution. Wow! This simple little solution just blew me away. How could MLM be that simple. Why doesn't your upline ever tell you about this? Do they even know? 3. The following quote from the book really stimulated my thought process: "Anonymous marketing just doesn't work anymore. Consumers want to know not only what they're buying, but who they're buying it from. The people, not the logo. Consumer relationship is as important as product development." Think of all of the Dave Thomas (Wendy's) type of commercials on TV. Successful growing companies where we can identify with the owner. They are everywhere. Further proof that MLM is the future.
Mission Statement and MLM success -- Finally!

I've been in MLM for several years now and am delighted that Patrick Snetsinger has finally touched on the one tool REQUIRED for success in this business. His chapter on Mission Statements is my favorite! He states 'in a world in which we are daily forced to make decisions that lead us either closer to or further from our goals, no tool is as valuable in providing direction as a mission statement -- a brief and focused statement of purpose that can be used to initiate, evaluate, and refine all of life's activities. A carefully thought out mission statement acts as both a harness and a sword -- harnessing you to what is true about your life, and cutting away all that is false.' It is my experience that MLM distributors are presented with dozens of decisions; the proverbial "forks in the road" every day! With a mission statement in your hand and in your heart, you will be able to decide which road to take in order to achieve objectives -- harness and cut away as needed. This chapter looks at several 'high profile' company statements and then takes the reader through a 6-step program to writing a personal Mission Statement. I give a copy of Confessions of a Multi-level Marketer; Networking From Your Heart to all new recruits in my organization with instructions to read this chapter first!
